Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, downgrades, renewal stops, and post-cancellation access work for paid Traceraft plans and premium features.

By purchasing or using a paid plan, you agree to this Cancellation Policy, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

1. Subscription Renewal

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

The applicable price, billing cycle, renewal timing, and plan details will be shown on the pricing page, checkout page, account settings, or subscription confirmation screen.

2. How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription through the cancellation method provided by Traceraft. This may include account settings, a customer portal, or contacting support.

If a self-service cancellation flow is available, you should use that flow to avoid delays. If you are unable to cancel through the Service, please contact us using the email address listed below.

3. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. This means you can continue using paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

After the current billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free plan or otherwise lose access to paid features.

4. Access After Cancellation

After cancellation or downgrade, you may lose access to premium features, including but not limited to:

• Creating new version history records.
• Restoring from previous versions.
• Using AI-assisted draft or rewrite features.
• Using advanced editor features.
• Using other features limited to paid plans.

Your existing public profile, public traces, and free-plan content may remain available unless you delete them, request deletion, or we remove them according to our Terms of Service.

5. Premium Data After Downgrade

Some premium features may create or store additional data, such as editor version history, restore points, AI-assisted draft variants, or other premium-only records.

After your subscription ends, Traceraft may restrict access to premium-only data or features. For example, you may be unable to create, view, restore, export, or modify premium-only version history unless you have an active paid plan.

We may retain premium-related data for a reasonable period after cancellation unless deletion is required by law, requested through an available deletion process, or otherwise handled under our data retention practices.

6. Immediate Cancellation

In some cases, Traceraft may allow or perform immediate cancellation. Immediate cancellation may stop access to paid features before the end of the current billing period.

Immediate cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund. Refund eligibility is handled separately under our Refund Policy.

7. Failed Payments

If payment fails, we may notify you and allow a reasonable period to update your payment method. If payment is not completed, your subscription may be suspended, canceled, or downgraded.

Access to paid features may be limited while payment is past due or unresolved.

8. No Automatic Refund on Cancellation

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals, but it does not automatically refund charges that have already been processed.

Refund requests are reviewed under our Refund Policy.

9. Account Deletion Is Separate from Cancellation

Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your Traceraft account or public content. If account deletion is available, it must be requested or performed separately.

Account deletion may affect your profile, traces, drafts, editor content, version history, and other stored data, subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the Last updated date.
